What do I need to know ?

FAQ

  • Painting materials are not included in this price. We work on 2 large canvases and with acrylic paints. I will provide a full kit list. Alternatively I can provide all materials (canvases, paints, brushes, aprons,) for an additional cost if required.

  • Lawrences Art Studios , 16 Kingsthorpe Road, Hove, BN3 5HR It is a beautiful professional teaching studio - it is light, airy and is fully equipped with easels and big sinks and a kitchen area.

  • Yes. A delicious and nourishing vegan Lunch is provided each day and there are amazing cakes for afternoon tea. Please get in touch to discuss your needs. Is there parking?

    There is metered on street parking . It is best to use the paybyphone app. The Studio is a short distance from Portslade Station and there are plenty of buses to and from the area. Please get in touch if you need support with transport and directions.

  • Yes - You can leave things at your own risk. The studio is locked and alarmed.

  • No - you will need to arrange your own accommodation if it is to far for you to travel. (Brighton & Hove is a great place to come for a weekend with plenty of places to stay…)

  • The studio is on the ground floor and there are no steps, so it is accessible in that respect, there is not a specific disabled toilet. Please contact me directly so that we can discuss and accommodate your needs as much as we are able.
