Deep dive into wild art journalling

Wild Art Journaling is a potent, creative process that opens up your intuitive creative power. A mix of journaling, collage and paint, it creates the space you need to let go creatively without the need to show anyone your work. Wild Art Journaling is magic. And you are invited.

This process connects you to your uninhibited, wild creative self, gives you space to let go creatively, to become present, to not care about the outcome and to explore and expand. Not just creatively, but on a soul level. It is like prayer or meditation. But in creative process form.

It creates in you, a magical space. And it has a powerful effect.

The unique and wonderful thing about Wild Art Journaling. Is that it is a direct path to your WILD CREATIVE BEING.

Every time.

You will FEEL BETTER for it. Even if you are already feeling good.

It is solace, it is comfort, it is invigoration, it is joy, it is spaciousness, it is play, it is release, it is connection, it is pure creativity, it is engaging, it is freeing. It is all these things.

Why does it feel so good? Because it just DOES.

Because creative self expression is something all humans need. And it isn’t until you do it, and you feel better, and your life feels coloured in, that you know, why it matters so much, and how much you need it.

Wild Art Journaling. Is a potent process, a way back in, a conduit to your life in full colour.

And here is another thing. And it is important.

Wild Art Journaling is not art to put on a wall where you stand back and it gets judged. No. This is a sketchbook practice and you do not have to show anyone. At least not anyone who doesn’t understand. It is PURELY for your own creative pleasure.

You can do it on a tabletop at home, you can close your Art Journal after and not show a soul. It is the process that matters.

And, there is this other part. Because we work in layers. The journaling involved; a free writing, artist’s way, morning pages style, which is a marvellous way empty your head of the mental clutter you carry. Is obscured, covered over and let go of. This means, unlike your normal journaling - you really express, free from the sneaking fear that someone somewhere might pick it up and read it sometime. But oh, there is something wonderful about really letting it go.

And perhaps this is where the magic of Wild Art Journaling truly lies. It is all a tool for letting go.

At every stage there is this liberating cathartic, drawing back to your unselfconcious WILDY creative self; allowing you to freefall through the creative process; outcome less, exploratory, play.

Proper Magic.

I created of Wild Art Journaling for myself and I developed it over many years with many hundreds of classes with people like you.

It is for those of us on a creative quest, who hear the call to create and desire to create fully, wildly, for our own pleasure. I am in this with you. This is my journey every time.

I also paint and run art retreats where we take it up a level and paint on a large scale. Have a look at Wild Painting if you want to go large. But I still do the fundamental sketchbook Wild Art Journaling. Every week. With others who come back every week to join me. Because. It works.

This magical creative process seeps into your very being and changes everything. Bit by bit.

  • “I absolutely loved taking part in the workshops, it was everything I expected and more! Whilst I don’t consider myself to be naturally creative, I love using creative activities and techniques to inspire me and generate ideas for things I’m doing in my life or my business. The time flew by and I was nicely surprised by the results I got with different art techniques. Moyra is brilliant at facilitating the sessions, creating a really lovely relaxed atmosphere and encouraging loads of playfulness and expression with the art techniques. I would highly recommend Moyra’s Art Journaling for anyone looking for a bit of inspiration, relaxation and creativity."
